V12 Zagato and DB7 Zagato / Bonhams
During the Bond Street Motor Car Sale on 4 December, Bonhams annual classic car year-end sale at its head office in Bond Street, two Zagato-designed Aston Martins will be offered for auction: V12 Zagato and DB7 Zagato.
Let’s start with the stunning V12 Zagato. This car is finished in special Fiamma Red, with rear spoiler in body colour and the interior trimmed in Bitter Chocolate leather and Alcantara. Furthermore, the car has a fire extinguisher, front and rear proximity cameras, and a titanium sports exhaust with straight-through secondary catalyst pipes, which were fitted by Aston Martin Works prior to delivery. Other noteworthy options include black-painted side strakes, personalised sill covers, and an upgraded alarm system. This car also incorporates the optional and highly desirable package of ‘Q-Features’, comprising full black satin steering wheel finish, diamond quilting on headlining, matt carbon exterior pack, black ‘Z’ badge, seat control pack from Virage (chrome), and full boot lining in Bitter Chocolate. In total, the options chosen added over £17,000 to the base price. For more information about this car, click here.
The second car is the left-hand drive DB7 Zagato. This car is one of only two finished in Buckinghamshire Green, while the interior is trimmed in contrasting Detroit Tan aniline leather with Charcoal carpets. With 900-or-so kilometres from new, this car with number 57 (of 99 produced) is presented in effectively ‘as new’ condition. For more information about this car, click here.
